This is actually going onto a postcard, believe it or not. It's an Ahka kind of day. Started working on this a 12/1pm last night, just finished it. I slept for like 5/6 hours, so, not too bad! Just need to format it to the card and add a back with the dragon postage I uploaded a month or so ago

Ahka's wolfshead helm is metal.

I've gotten a few questions about the character, so if anyone wants to know anything about himm, ask in the comments and I'll add it to the desc.

Well, a bit of a long story Ahka has always been on the fringes of society, especially since leaving/forsaking his tribe and family name. When he went to learn druidism, it became apparent that as a magic user he was piss-poor, but he was the first in his group to master the animal forms. The reverse was true for this elf named Khuraz. Where Ahka was small, slender, good natured and extremely comely, Khuraz was a large and brutish elf whom the gods had made ugly.
The elders didnt miss out on that parallel, and divined that the two had sort of switched parts of their essence somehow before birth. They attempted to separate the two, but it only made the connection stronger. If Khuraz was hit by a stray bolt of magic, Ahka would feel a portion of the pain and vice versa. Khuraz was stronger and more evil, convinced that Ahka had stolen HIS soul, and dedicated his study to the eradication of his other half. Ahka instead put as much distance between them as possible, finding a surrogate family. Tragedy struck and he ran off in shame, spending the next two years in catform and then addicted to demonic runes and the nightmares they brought. He was captured by the Darkmoon and exhibited in a freak show, escaped, and was finally found and reclaimed by his surrogate family. After that he caught up with an old crush, which blossomed into a deep love. In the end, it was his newfound lover Ebon Thundermoon that found out about the whole thing and was able to rescue Ahka from death's doorstep and put an end to Khuraz. Unfortunatley things did not end happily ever after, war and other things continually distance the two, sending each of them back into bad habits. In this image, I sort of see Ahka as finally being so heartsick at the reality that he cannot seem to keep Ebon close to him on even a yearly basis that he has flown into a suicidal rage and is sort of attempting to take some of the war that keeps them apart with him to the grave.
